Must do NYC fall activity

It’s fall and you need the perfect activity to enjoy the perfect weather with your perfectly layered outfit. All over New York City you can find parks hosting outdoor movies to enjoy (before we get hit with a beautiful snowfall followed by dirty snow piles on the sidewalk).

There’s so much to do in New York City it’s almost overwhelming. One of my favorites has always been the Bryant Park summer movie nights every Monday, so I was quite happy to discover that there are movies playing all over the city- in all of the boroughs- throughout the month of October. I went to go see A Quiet Place Part Ⅱ at Cooper Park in Brooklyn this past Sunday. The movie started a bit late but it worked out well because we were running late. There was plenty of space and not a lot of people- I only wish I dressed warmer and brought better snacks!

While the month is half over now (how is this even possible??), movies are still playing on October 22nd, 23rd, 27th, and 30th. And did I mention they’re all free? Free outdoor movies- all you need is a cozy setup and some great fall snacks. Some movies being shown are Coco, Men in Black, Halloweentown, Beetlejuice, and Twitches (among others!). What better way to spend a spooky October night in NYC?

Another stunning place to catch an outdoor movie is the Skyline Drive-In in Brooklyn! This one isn’t free, but the venue is by the water and has a beautiful view of the NYC skyline (hence the name), and they play newer movies- like No Time to Die or Dune (in early November). You also don’t need to drive in- tickets for a single seat are around $20 and a car of up to 7 people is $55.

Now go out and enjoy a beautiful fall NYC night with your loved ones or yourself! Just don't forget your blankets and warm socks!!
